Portobello Road Buckle Collar

Our Portobello Road buckle collar is made from a classic Liberty Art print from their archive collection of paisley style designs.

Portobello Road has all the hallmarks of an iconic Liberty of London print with its small scale florals, paisley pattern, and hand-drawn flowers for our loyal liberty art fans. The cotton we use to make this collar is ‘Tana Lawn’, superior cotton that acts and feels like silk. It has a distinctive softness and a unique thread count that makes the fabric feel cool in summer yet warm in winter.

This collar is lined with your choice of smokey grey or vermilion red Swiss velvet. Smokey grey creates a classic look, whereas vermilion red gives the collar a retro appeal. We then ask you to finish the collar with your choice of a brass or nickel-plated silver buckle fastener. Opt for solid brass if you would like an opulent finish. Choose silver to accentuate the retro look.

Why choose a buckle collar

A buckle collar features a durable metal fastening buckle. The collar closes like a belt and remains closed until you release the buckle. This type of collar fastening is really convenient if you like to take your dog’s collar on and off throughout the day.

We line all Doggy Boho buckle collars with Swiss velvet to give your dog a luxury, soft feel to enjoy and feel relaxed in. We are definitely not fans of using material that chaffs in our collars. It is important to remind you that our buckle collars are not suitable walking collars for dogs with long delicate necks such as sighthounds as they can easily slip them. Our Portobello Road Martingale Collar is a much better option for these breeds as it offers you control and peace of mind that you won’t lose your best friend on a walk!

This collar is available in four widths; 5/8″, 3/4″. 1″ or 1.5” and in six different sizes; Extra-Small, Small, Small-Medium, Medium, Large and Extra-Large.

Caring for your collar

We recommend hand washing or spot cleaning the soiled area. Also, please do not tumble dry. Leave your collar to air dry instead.
