Make sure your dog is standing with their head up. Start at the base of the neck, just in front of the shoulder blades (not from the collar) and go to the base of the tail. Doing so will give you your dog’s back length measurement.
Take the girth or the circumference of your dog’s chest at the thickest point. Doing so will give you your dog’s neck girth measurement.
Take the girth or circumference at the base of the neck. Doing so will give you your dog’s neck girth measurement.
This is the distance around the head at the thickest part (just in front of the ears). This measurement is only needed for sizing a Head Muff.
The head length is the distance from the top of your dog’s head to the base of their neck. This measurement is only needed for sizing a Head Muff.
