Piper Peacock Buckle Collar

Our Piper Peacock Buckle Collar draws inspiration from a 1962 archive design. It now appears as a recoloured iteration within our Liberty Art collection. The peacock feather elements offer a nod to Liberty’s stylistic influence during the Aesthetic Movement of the 1880s. Piper Peacock is a rich coloured design created by traditional screen-printing techniques.

This design features white and green peacock feathers that swish and sway on a green-blue background that features a stylised “eye” in green, gold and red. You can choose to line this collar with Emerald or Rust luxury Swiss velvet to create a soft layer against your hounds delicate neck. This adds warmth and a touch of luxury to the overall collar and is a trade mark of Doggy Boho neck attire. This collar makes a bold statement when worn by a pure white hound.

The collar is finished with your choice of solid brass or nickel plated silver hardware. Solid brass gives a more opulent finish whereas nickel plated silver offers you a more modern contemporary look.

Why choose a buckle collar

A buckle collar features a durable metal fastening buckle. The collar closes like a belt and remains closed until you release the buckle. This type of collar fastening is really convenient if you like to take your dogs collar on and off throughout the day.

We line all Doggy Boho buckle collars with Swiss velvet to give a luxury, soft feel for your dog to enjoy and feel relaxed in. We are definitely not fans of using material that chaffs in our collars. It is important to remind you that our buckle collars are not suitable walking collars for dogs with long delicate necks such as sighthounds as they can easily slip it. Our Piper Peacock Martingale Collar is a much better option for these breeds as it offers you control and peace of mind that you won’t lose your best friend on a walk!

We recommend hand washing or spot cleaning the soiled area. Also, please do not tumble dry, leave your collar to air dry instead.
