1. Who are we?

Doggy Boho is a family business based in Staffordshire, supplying and manufacturing luxury pet accessories for dogs and connecting like-minded owners in our Doggy Boho community.

We are the Data Controller when processing your data from sales which you make directly with us, but may also be a Data Processor for charities and organisations that supply our products.  As a Data Controller, this privacy notice sets out our commitment to keeping your personal data safe and secure.

2. What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it
  • If you are a customer, to make a purchase, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
  • If you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
  • Contact details for third party providers enable us to offer our services.
  • When you shop with us online or browse our website we may collect information about the device you have used such as an IP address, product selection and cookie browsing information.

How do we collect your data?

  1. In-person by purchasing from us from Dog Shows.
  2. Contact forms from our website.
  3. When completing a purchase directly through our website or social media platform for example Facebook.
  4. Phone Sales.
  5. From Data Controllers who we are supporting customers to provide our products, for example, charities which supply our products on their websites.

 

3. What do we do with your personal data?

Without this information, it would be difficult for Doggy Boho to provide you with its services.  We do not use your data for purposes other than for the specified purpose that you contacted us for, and to give you the best service that we can. None of your data is passed on to third parties for direct marketing purposes. If we would like to use your data then we will always ask for your permission before we do so.

Remember that no method of transmission is completely secure against interception.  If your communication to us is very sensitive you might want to send it by post instead.

We will keep your data for as long as is necessary and in line with other UK laws, primarily we keep your purchase information for up to 6 years.

Access to your personal data and data portability

You have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, this is called a ‘Subject Access Report.’  This will provide you with all personal data we hold about you, subject to some limited exemptions, for example, you will not necessarily be entitled to access third party information.
