Our Fig Swiss velvet dress lead is a deep rich purple with hints of rosy brown. It’s a very chic collar for hounds with a mysterious and alluring spirit.

We use premium Swiss quality velvet to make this dress lead. This material is our preferred choice because it offers you an incredibly soft and luxurious collar. Many of our customers comment on how nice the lead feels in your hand as you walk along with your dog. To give you a heightened level of comfort, we create an adjustable handle where you can alter the length to ensure the lead feels comfortable and secure in your hand.

This double-sided velvet lead is finished with your choice of solid brass or nickel-plated silver hardware. Choose solid brass for a traditional look and silver for a modern contemporary look.

Available dress lead widths and sizes

Our Fig velvet lead is available in three widths: 5/8 (Skinny), 3/4″ (Slim) and 1″ (Wide) and three lengths; 4ft, 5ft or 6ft.

Nylon webbing

We sew the Swiss Velvet to both sides of strong, durable nylon webbing to make your double-sided lead. I’ve chosen Brown webbing to compliment the Fig velvet.

Caring for your Swiss velvet dress lead

Our velvet dress leads are very durable and long-lasting. They can be hand or machine washed. Place your lead in a laundry bag or knotted pillowcase, wash on a delicate cycle and then leave to air dry.
